Two years ago, Gilchrist County was able to secure grants and funding to construct a very unique "Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Public Safety Complex" the EOC is a center of coordination anytime a community has a disaster and emergency; hurricanes being the common reason for activating. This complex cost 1.8 million dollars to construct. At the heart of the operations is the ability to communicate and obtain vital information for the personnel assigned to the facility. One of my biggest concerns was locating a company that could address our concerns and create, develop and install the equipment and establish the functionality we absolutely needed. We searched and searched and actually were very disappointed with those who we thought might be able to provide us with a functional EOC. Then, out of the blue, we received a call from Kennedy Communications. From the very beginning, I knew this was the right company to do our work. With weeks, we had plan and timetable. Presentations were made and they were the lowest bid of the companies to replied. All of our expectations were met and they have been wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them for any of your communications needs. They are very talented.
