I just installed Windows Live Writer and so far I am pretty impressed.
It integrates right into IE and gives you a button on the toolbar to blog pages and articles as you surf.
(yes i am using it for this post)

I find it interesting that even technology is subject to trends.
Over 20 years ago newsgroups and discusstion forums were the rage and about all that existed of the internet.
So here we are again back where it all started (of course it looks much better when it isn’t on a monochrome display) with way more features [...]
