Short-term ‘Jobs’ Bill Passed

April 19th, 2010

The Senate and House voted to pass H.R. 4851, AHA backed legislation that will ensure that physicians who practice in hospital-owned outpatient centers qualify for health information technology incentives under the American Recovery andReinvestment Act and delay a 21% Medicare payment cut forphysicians until May 31.
