Cisco releases new Flip Slide HD Video Camera

This newest Flip camcorder sports a three-inch screen and stereo speakers for playing back your videos as well as 720p video, and 16GB of storage for recording up to four hours of video. Cisco spends some more cash and picks up Starent Networks

Mobile data traffic is expected to more than double every year through 2013 and in keeping up with their buying streak Cisco is buying Starent Networks. The transaction should be complete by mid 2010 and the company will become Cisco’s new Mobile Internet Technology Group giving the company a major leg up into the mobile data market.

Cisco has proven its capability to successfully move into new markets such as VoIP and server virtualization and become a major player quickly.
