Avaya won approval from both US and Canadian courts for its $915 million deal to purchase Nortel’s communications operation.

The deal will bring Avaya’s North American market share to 27% and position them as the largest provider.

Avaya will pay $900 million for the operations, plus set aside $15 million for employee retention. The deal is expected to finalize at the end of the year.

We are excited to see Avaya’s growth and look forward to the new possibilities that will come from this purchase.
